Q: What makes your services different from other cleaning services?

A: There are many things that sets Eco-Friendly Maid Service apart from the other services!  One of the biggest aspects of our company is our customer service!  We believe that communication with a client is key to a healthy and long relationship.  We strive to meet our clients needs and expectations but sometimes mistakes happen or areas are missed.  Our clients know that they can come to us anytime with questions, concerns, or comments and feel 100% comfortable with it. 

We also bring all the cleaning supplies for the day leaving your supplies in the cabinet and untouched.  We believe that you should not have to pay for a service and also buy your own products, plus we make almost all of our products!

Another key aspect of our company is our employee placement!  You will never have another cleaner in your home that you do not know or have not been told about.  Sometimes people get sick, but instead of getting another cleaner in your home we call you!  We give you the choice to cancel your cleaning or have another cleaner come instead. 

We are a small company, the owners sometimes help the cleaners and that is how we want to keep it for as long as possible.  Being small has some disadvantages, but the advantage to you is knowing we truly care about your happiness because it is the building blocks to our future!

Q: Do I need to be home when the cleaner(s) arrive to clean?

A: Most of our clients are not home for their regular cleanings, but we require the owner to be home to meet the cleaner for the first cleaning to consult and confirm the cleaning process.

Q: What type of products do you use?

A:  Eco-Friendly Maid Service has used them all (the GREEN ones of course), but now we make our own.  We did not do it for its cost efficiency, we did it to have the peace of mind in knowing what is in the products we are using for the health of our clients and employees.  We mainly use products made from Vinegar, Essential Oils, Baking Soda, Distilled Water, and some other items.  Please have us discuss this with you before cleaning if you have any concerns.

Q: What if I am not satisfied with my cleaning?

A: Communication is key!  Please let us know within 24 hours of the problem at hand and we will arrange to re-clean the area in which you are dissatisfied.  Also, we will add this area that we missed in your file and work to never miss it again.  We know we are human and we all make mistakes, but with open communication from you we can strive to get it right each and every time and not miss the same area twice!

Q: What form of payment do you accept?

A: Cash and Checks ($30.00 fee for all returned checks).  At this time we do not accept credit cards, but will in the future.

Q: Whats your cancellation policy?

A:  Although we are aware of unforeseen circumstances we ask you to provide at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.  We charge a $10.00 cancellation fee for all appointments canceled after this 24-hour window. 

 Q: Do you guarantee a day and time for my cleaning?

 A:  Eco-Friendly Maid Service guarantees a specific day, but not a specific time.  For the first cleaning we will specify a time to meet you, but from there on out we cannot guarantee a specific time because of the nature of the business.  If you would like to call on the day of your service we will be able to estimate the time in which your house will be cleaned.

Q: Do I need to provide a key?

A:  There are many ways we approach this.  Most of our clients provide a key.  We store the keys in a safe with a numerical identification instead of your name or other specific information.  Some clients hide keys outside or in a lock box.  We want you to be comfortable with our services and leave these decisions up to you. 

Q: Are my valuable safe with Eco-Friendly Maid Service?

A:  If you have any special valuables, heirlooms, or irreplaceable items, please put them away or instruct us not to touch them.  A closed door or drawer is your signal that you do not want that area cleaned.  We take extreme care around your valuables, but mistakes happen
